Mumbo Jumbo returns celebrating none other than Headspin‘s 25th Anniversary.
One of Bongo’s most popular nights in its New Street & Moray House days, Headspin was originally launched by DJs Allan Dunbar and Steve Austin way back in 1998. Featuring distinctive flyers illustrated by local legend Elph and a four deck mix of funky music by residents Colin Millar & Dava, plus Steve and Allan, it set a new template for Edinburgh’s nightlife and endured for well over a decade.
So Allan’s back to mark the occasion for one night only, with regular Mumbo crew – DJs Trendy Wendy, Steve Austin plus Mairi B aka ‘Pots n Pans’ (live) – also on hand to deliver their goodtime mix, ‘exploring the many flavours of disco & house, with a cracking vocal, slick rap or two for the perfect party soundtrack.’
