“Rodent and Folie of Alien Disko are curating a new series of events to bring fast and heavy music to the Bongo dancefloor,” say the crew behind the new Tektite night.
“Expect guest spots from close to home, Europe and beyond — showcasing the sounds that are deeply rooted in rave culture old and new.
Part of the team behind Alien Disko, they have been hitting Bongo and the Cowgate scene hard since Spring ’22, with a run of dates flying the flag for hard and fast dance music of all persuasions. Their 1st Birthday with French techno-trance star Axyom was a big one here back in March ’23 and Autumn 23’s date with Spanish player Glitchgirl was equally jumping.
Previous guests include: Mat Weasal Busters, Epidemie, High P, Harry Potar, Spice Up! aka Vortek’s & Teksa, Mandidextrous, Glitchgirl, Axyom.
Also behind the irregular, midweek CandyFlip events (each of which focuses its lens on a different niche of electronic dance music), their events are always irreverent fun, championing new, under-rated and undiscovered acts from the scene, while keeping the door tax accessible for all.
