Techno night started in 2009 by Darrell Pulse.

iluna is a Scottish DJ and producer now living in Colombia. Her moniker - taken from the Basque ilun meaning “dark, mysterious, obscure” - reflects a sound that is simultaneously hypnotic and fierce, drawing from deep textures, driving rhythms and nostalgic sounds.

As well as residing at EPiKA and Tribal Pulse, she’s taken her sound to major dancefloors including Terminal V Festival, the iconic Sub Club for Soma Records’ Return to Mono night and the Berkeley Suite stage alongside the legendary I LOVE ACID collective.

iluna has also supported seminal acts including Leftfield, Vitalic, Harvey McKay (RIP) and DJ Pierre.

Tonight will be the last night before we shut for the Fringe, this is something that happens every year.

@pulse_edinburgh_ are in, known for their vinyl and old school oriented techno sets with some killer previous guests. Tonight they send us off with local residents playing a range of techno, electro, bass and more!

“We’re very happy to be hosting the Bongo’s summer closing party,” they say. “Pulse residents @seanlr52 @darrell_pulse and @shaun._.resist will be joined by local producer @hobbes_music who will be playing an old school electro / techno set. Limited free tickets now then £6 & £8.”
