Consistently the biggest date on the calendar for Messenger, as they choose to celebrate the King of Reggae’s birthday to mark the club’s own anniversary. Messenger was actually launched way back in 1987 and has also been with the Bongo since the club’s inception in 1996 – quite hard to appreciate this fully in the transient world of music and clubs but they really have gone the distance and still come up with the goods, month-in, month-out, with a lot of TLC regularly going into the maintenance of the legendary Messenger Sound System, for a loyal crowd.
