“For this month’s Chromatic we are super excited to have invited Georgian singer, producer and pianist SALO,” say the crew. “Her background in classic music and love for jazz and soul married with jungle and drum and bass has made some of the most exciting, smoothest electronic music coming out of the UK at the moment.
She has collaborated with some of the biggest names in underground dance music scene such as Chimpo, 4am Kru, Sully, Dub Phizix and a recent release on Shogun Audio with Sustance. We absolutely cannot wait to see what she’ll bring to Bongo.

Salo is the future face of Jazz and Soul music. The Georgian singer, songwriter, producer, Dj and pianist is one of the most exciting artists breaking through in the scene right now. Taking influence from neo soul, old jazz, blues and native Georgian harmonies, her songwriting and vocals make it hard to believe she’s only 22 years old. Though she’s been compared to artists such as Sade, Amy Winehouse, Beth Orton and Jill Scott , it’s impossible to directly compare her to any artist as her personal lyrics and traditional Georgian influenced harmonisation make her stand in her own lane completely. She’s currently just commercially released 5 songs, 2 of which are house collabs that have both racked up millions of streams, 2 jungle collabs with Chimpo that shook up the DnB scene and track with liquid DnB producer Dogger that raised funds for the trouble in Palestine. The best however is still to come, a strings of collabs with some of the biggest producers in UK underground dance music and a collection of straight Soul and Jazz tracks shes been building with Chimpo and Dub Phizix, are all sat ready to shake up the music world. Chromatic is a monthly night from Cowgate staples Lara Sinclair and ZO3, which launched in Spring ’24, championing all things UKG, grime, dubstep, bass and more.
