For the second instalment in the Carouse Sunday series, we present to you…

Demuja (Nervous RecordsFreerange Records, MUJA)

Operating out of Mozart’s hometown, Salzburg, ex-drummer and breakdancer turned beat-maker Demuja is slowly but surely rising as one to watch in the house scene. After playing New York, Paris and Berlin in 2009, Demuja took his turn in the production game.  Influenced by the likes of Kerri Chandler, Motor City Drum Ensemble and BICEP, his releases (on reputable labels such as Freerange Records, Traxx Underground, Nervous Records, 124 Recordings and Shadow Child’s Food Music) brought a lot of positive attention, leading Demuja to launch his own MUJA label in 2016.

With 3 EPs under its belt and the first vinyl release, Mary Janes Theory, an instant sell out, Demujas Disco Cuts followed. 2018 releases Hidden Paradise and Classic Warrior have both had a fantastic reception and set Demuja on a fast track to being one of House’s biggest stars.

Support from Carouse Residents Vigile and Ali.
