Chromatic is a monthly night from Cowgate staples Lara Sinclair and ZO3, which launched in Spring ’24, championing all things UKG, grime, dubstep, bass and more.

It also features residents Mumbo Jumbo upstairs, playing house, disco, funk and soul.

Past guests:  Mia Koden, Saint Ludo, Flipside, Salo, Yemz, Clean Up Crew, Buckley, Proc Fiskal (Hyperdub), Casement and MC M.A.D. (Groove Armada).

With a strong roster of residents (see below) and a selection of guests, EPiKA has over the years strongly influenced the local techno scene. Their guests included Kessie, Maemm, VRGN, EKATA, A.mo and many more – up and coming femme DJs that are on the trajectory to impact global techno scenes. Beyond its club programme, EPiKA runs femme-focused DJ workshops led by resident instructors, empowering newcomers to master mixing techniques and build confidence behind the decks.

The key for the collective is their community-focus: EPiKA pre-event socials have become legendary – allowing the residents, the guest DJs and party goers to meet before the night begins. These meet-ups create dancefloors everyone knows one another – a community of hundreds of friends united by the music they love.
