Over a dozen years since their last gigs, widely acclaimed Stone Roses tribute act Resurrection are back on the road and we’re excited to be welcoming them to the Bongo.
The band did such a good job of performing the tunes of the original act that Mani (bassist and original member of The Stone Roses) actually joined them on tour for a number of shows at the time. You couldn’t really ask for a more resounding endorsement than that (see images below).
Recent press has been equally solid, including a great wee write-up in The Daily Record earlier this year, an enthusiastic review for a show in Cardiff from UK blog Louder Than War plus this interview with them for a gig in Whitley Bay last in August.
Support comes from up-and-coming Edinburgh outfit Snide Rhythms and equally rated local boys Frantic Chant.
