Casement [Nice Up Records]
LeX [Cleanup Crew/Industrial Estate]
Sea Urchin [Bongo Club/Sneaky Pete’s]
“Following two monster bookings at Bongo with Coco Bryce and Dax J, we’re back with the first of our newest series of parties: Altered Egos,” they say. “Altered egos will be a platform for DJs to play the genres they’re most passionate about but don’t fit in their usual pigeonhole.
For this instalment, Glasgow’s club-edit king Casement revives a Trap set from the vaults of its golden era, Sea Urchin joins us on the other side of the bar for a Jersey set, Wrisk switches things up with a set from the most culturally relevant UK musical movement of recent years: Drill, and LeX ditches the DnB for Overground’s flagship genre: Hardcore.
