Scotland’s original [and biggest] roots and culture rasta reggae sound system, Messenger has been spreading the word on their own custom built bass-heavy rig since 1987, with a flame burning brighter than ever today.
Special event for King Haile Selassie’s birthday and also the last dance before we break for the summer tonight, with MC Afrikan Simba the special guest ‘pon de mic.
After tonight, The Bongo Club will be closed for the rest of the summer, due to the Underbelly taking over the lease here (more info). We reopen on Saturday 5th September.
