Part II sees label act Jacksonville – aka Capricorn One (Headset) aka Limoux, better known to his pals as Chris Lyth – bring out his live set.
Chris’s floor-quaking beats and bass been deployed to carpet-bomb numerous HM parties (plus Headset events) around town, while he also turned heads among trailblazing international DJs with his 2020 ‘FON’ EP for the HM label (as well as last year’s Capricorn One debut on the Headset label). Expect live UK techno, electro & house, with old faves alongside exclusives and unreleased material.
The duo assembles once again following props for their last two EPs, with a debut album and new EP now due early ’24.
Their 2017 release Rags Of Time (lead track Web Of Intrigue) was massive on the Balearic house/disco scene, with 2021 follow-up EP Aranath generating a similar buzz and a debut album now due for release early ’24.
Among a slew of other DJ & critical plaudits, the pair has had enthusiastic features from Bandcamp, Electronic Sound, Ban Ban Ton Ton, DJ, Mixmag and Les Yeux Orange for an analogue production aesthetic that embraces classic techno, electro, house, disco, ambient, dub and more.
DJ-wise, you can expect them to focus on the party: classics and obscure bangers blended with the best new bits plus brand new exclusives and unreleased material from the L&H vaults.
In short, they’ll be getting deep, down and dirty, maintaining the pressure in the main room before and after Jacksonville.
For the upstairs space, coffee-house-come-party-starters Uplands Roast return with their mash-up of dub reggae, jungle and breaks witnessed at their recent sold out events at Bongo. Irie.
Back after creating such a healthy buzz upstairs at September’s Hobbes Music x Club Nacht party with headliner Austin Ato, Nameless Bros will be keep the fires burning upstairs, on rotation with Uplands Roast, with their brand of house beats.
