What do you see when you look at me?
‘Shall we make a new rule of life… always to try to be a little kinder than is necessary?’
I won’t describe what I look like.
Whatever you’re thinking, it’s probably worse.
Creative Electric are an award-winning, critically acclaimed company who create contemporary performance based on real experiences.
Often our work is interactive, sometimes its personal, at times it’s one-to-one.
Our work has been performed in both Scotland and Sweden, in theatres, studio’s, art galleries, nightclubs, skate-parks, on trains, in fields, city centre squares and on rooftops.
We create work based on the real and often subverted by the surreal. We’re predominantly interested in creating contemporary performance inspired by real people and their stories. Wonder has been informed by people from all walks of life who have dared to ask and answer the question ‘What do you see when you look at me?’
Funded by Creative Scotland Quality Production Fund
NB There are two other performances of Wonder this week.
