Edinburgh’s pioneers of the freestyle groove, Hobbes & Erik d’Viking (Trouble DJs, Devil Disco Club, Wonky) are back for one night only, launching the latest 12″ on the Hobbes Music label by brand new act DALI, alongside Jacksonville (LIVE).   Jacksonville brings his firing, live machine funk grooves (crossover soul/house/techno), Hobbes & Erik d’Viking play acid house, hi tech soul, cyber disco, machine funk, global rhythms and rare grooves.   DALI has a passion for analogue synths, abstract, hypnotic dance music and all things psychedelic. Don’t bother looking her up on the net, social media etc. DALI is eschewing all that, to let the music do the talking for now.   With support already from the likes of Ben UFO, Auntie Flo, John Heckle, Bill Brewster, Tom Findlay/Groove Armada, Bawrut, Ben Mono, Domenic Capello (Sub Club), The Revenge, Sean Johnston, Yogi Haughton and Mixmag, among others, it’s looking promising so far.  She will obviously also be making an appearance at some point, if only in audio form….
