Resident thespians Creative Electric stage two very special performances of their 2016 Fringe hit, Fragility, as part of our 20th Anniversary celebrations.  Fragility is a highly visual, physical performance that explores what it means to be a young man in 2016, created by eight young men aged 17-22 years. The production, set over the course of a night out explores expectations of masculinity with a focus on the pressure to have sex. Pressure from peers. From partners. Yourself.

One half of Optimo and one of the UK’s foremost taste-makers brings a unique selection.  Mumbo Jumbo is a melting pot of classic dance music: soul, funk, disco, hip hop, house and electronic beats are all dropped in the mix, courtesy of resident DJs Trendy Wendy and Steve Austin, while stalwart percussionist Bongo Dave energises the sound with his live conga workouts for a more vibrant experience on the ‘floor.  Mumbo Jumbo joins-the-dots between all the evergreen dance sounds,  lacing the lot with liberal helpings of cracking vocals, to ensure you get your groove on.  This is Saturday night party music at its best!
