Grabbing the baton from the Hogmanay celebrations, the Mumbo Jumbo crew will be powering on through the first weekend of the new year like the proper party people they all are.
Helmed by resident spinners Trendy Wendy and Steve Austin, who manage to mix up the musical styles so successfully, from funk, soul and hip hop to disco, house and electronica, throwing in beats, bootlegs and mash-ups, all sprinkled with character and liberal helpings of cracking vocals, there’s never a dull moment. Joining the dots like no one else in the capital, this is Saturday night party music at its best!
Resident sticks-man ‘Bongo Dave’ provides live drums, congas and other percussion.
