DANOX & HAXBY
Having wowed the crowd at the Liquid Room in November, award-winning hip hop / grime / drum ‘n’ bass MC Mr Traumatik plays his second ever gig in Scotland at this special one-off event for charity.
With over 140k followers on Spotify, 60k on Soundcloud and literally millions of plays on both Spotify and YouTube, he is one of the hottest up-and-coming artists in the UK’s renascent drum ‘n’ bass scene.
Support comes from DJs Digital Intrusion plus Danox & Haxby (up from Newcastle, having recently supported the mighty Andy C on home turf) and Edinburgh players Drowzee and Metragnome and ALL proceeds go to C.R.Y. (Cardiac Risk in the Young) in memory of George Wall (RIP) – being total stars, everyone involved has agreed to waive any fee/s. Should help chase those January blues away!
We are coming together to celebrate the life of George Wall, who was a huge fan of Mr Traumatik, who has so generously agreed to perform for us. George tragically passed in 2016 from SADS (Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome).
At least 12 young people die every week in the UK from undiagnosed heart conditions and CRY have been working since 1995 to bring awareness to and reduce the risk of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD).
We hope with this event we can raise money for this amazing cause, to increase the accessibility of heart screening programmes for those who need them and increase awareness and information available for all young people across the UK so we can work together to prevent sudden deaths such as George’s.
By donating to CRY, we want to help fund support for families who have lost loved ones and to help people know they are not suffering alone.
We hope you can show support for this amazing event and will not miss the chance to see Traumatik live in Edinburgh.
Bookings are closed for this event.
